anonym.es
Free dereferer

Anonymize your links

The destination site never sees where the visitor came from

Anonymous link

Paste an address and get an anonymous link

No referrer

The destination site cannot read which page sent the visitor. Your pages stay out of their logs.

Free, always

There is no account and no fee, and we never cap the count. Generate as many links as you need.

Nothing to install

A link or a one-line script is all it takes. Works from any page or forum post.

Built for forums

One snippet rewrites all outbound links on a board, blog, or homepage at once.

How it works

  1. You wrap a link so it points to anonym.es first, with the real address attached.
  2. A visitor clicks it and lands on a short forwarding page here.
  3. We send them on to the destination without a Referer header, so your page is never named.

What a referrer is, and why it matters

Every time someone clicks a link, the browser usually tells the destination which page the click came from. That address travels in the Referer header, and it lands in the destination's server logs and analytics. For a private forum, a members area, or any page you would rather not advertise, that is more than you meant to share.

A dereferer sits in the middle. The visitor reaches anonym.es first, and we forward them on with the referrer removed. The destination sees a plain visit with no trail back to your page.

Two ways to use it

For a one-off link, paste the address above and copy the anonymous version. For a whole site, add the embed script once and every external link is handled for you, with your own domains left untouched.

anonym.es hides the page a visitor came from. It does not hide the visitor's own IP address. If that is what you need, read about Tor instead.

Short and anonymous at the same time

A regular shortener hides the length of a link. This one also hides where the click came from: every visit lands on our forwarding page first, and we send the visitor on without a Referer header. The site behind your link sees a plain visit, never the page, chat or mailing where you posted it.

Name it yourself, keep it in one place

Pick your own name for the link or take a random one. Every link comes with a management key, and after signing in to the dashboard your links gather in one list. Free links stay alive as long as people use them, and a link nobody has opened for a month quietly retires.
