What Sites See

What sites see about you

This page shows the data your browser just sent us, exactly the way any site receives it. Nothing is stored.

Referrer (the page you came from): empty, nothing was sent
IP address: 216.73.216.24
Browser (User-Agent): Mozilla/5.0 AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko; compatible; ClaudeBot/1.0; [email protected])
Languages:
Screen: …
Time zone: …
Platform: …

Every request your browser makes carries this bundle by default. Site owners see it in their logs without asking, and trackers stitch it together across pages.

The referrer line is the one this site exists for: our link anonymizer strips it, so the page you came from stays private. The IP address is a different job. If you want that hidden too, read about Tor.

Where these values come from

Two kinds of data are on this page. The referrer, the IP address, the user agent and the language arrive with the request itself: the browser puts them into the headers before the page even loads. The screen size, the time zone and the platform are read by a small script once the page is open. A site with no script at all still gets the first group.

What can be hidden, and how

The referrer is the easy one: the link anonymizer removes it from every link you share, and a strict referrer policy on your own site does the same for outgoing clicks. The IP address needs a different tool, such as Tor or a trusted VPN. The user agent and the language can be trimmed in the browser settings. The screen and the time zone are the hardest to hide, which is why fingerprinting relies on them.

Check your own setup

Open this page in a private window, then through a VPN, then in another browser, and compare the rows. If the referrer shows the page you came from, your links leak it. If the IP address is the same everywhere, the VPN is not on. The page keeps nothing of what it shows you: the values are printed once and are gone with the tab.
